SEAL SwimSafe has discontinued the level 3 (Aqua) swim level. Swim level Purple allows enough submersion time for normal above and underwater swimming for swimmers of all ages. Although not easy, some adults and teens may be able to hold their breath beyond the time limit. This activity is dangerous and should be discouraged. Swimmers occasionally pass out during competition breath holding and far too many fatalities occur each year from this dangerous practice. A pre alert will sound first on the swimmer letting them know they are approaching the swim level limit and they should return to the surface immediately.
