The Pre-Alert

A swimmer's Band will 'Pre-Alert' for a short period of time before sending the entire system into Full Alarm.

The Pre-Alert causes a distressed swimmer's band to alarm briefly without sending the full system into alarm. The Pre-Alarm signals to a swimmer that they have been under the water for too long, or that they are straying from the coverage area of the Hub. If a swimmer does not, or can not, promptly re-surface or return to the coverage area; then the entire System will enter Full Alarm.
