To prevent a swimmer from mistakenly swimming with a band WITHOUT turning on the hub first, the SEAL SwimSafe Bands are programmed to alert the user if they are in the water but the Hub is not turned on.
If the charger or the band itself has a water on the charging contacts, it will alarm.
To fix this simply blow the water off the charger.
If the charging contacts are coated with grime, this can also cause the band to alarm.
To correct this, clean the contacts with a brush or by rubbing with a cloth and rinse off with clean tap water.
